We are a Christian based business that strives to create a positive environment and experience for our children, families, and staff. Employees of Miss Alyson's are to be care givers in the place of parents for the children in our care. Employees are expected to model best practices for the families and parents in our community.

Miss Alyson's Daycare operates multiple Child Day Centers under licenses with the Virginia Department of Social Services. Employees are trained on current standards, federal and state mandates, as well as Virginia Quality practices. 


We are dedicated to providing each child with a positive and nurturing environment that will foster intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. We are committed to creating and maintaining a fun, exciting learning experience for every child by encouraging them to explore through free play, outdoor time, as well as directed activities. We strive to provide an environment in which our employees can develop their professional knowledge and experience with support to help them succeed. 



Employment Eligibility Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Submitting a Sworn Statement and Central Registry Check
  • Completing a finger-print based Criminal Background Check
  • Maintaining current CPR and First Aid Certifications
  • Completing the Pre-Service Training required for Child Care staff
  • Completing a total of 16 hours annually of professional development and training
